Remember to:

  • Shower and wash with soap after all practices and competitions.
  • Wash hands regularly with soap and hot water.
  • Refrain from sharing towels, sparring gear, uniforms, water bottles, and daily athletic gear.
  • Wash uniforms and athletic gear daily.
  • Cover cuts and abrasions.
  • Report any skin lesion.
  • Avoid picking, squeezing or scratching scabs, abrasions, bumps or rashes.
  • Keep your nail tips less than 1/4 inch long and remove all jewelry to avoid scratches.
